Princeton Country Dancers'

HEAD FOR THE HILLS 2001

SPECIAL BULLETIN ABOUT REGISTRATION - 10/29/2001

As you may know, there is a problem with mail delivery in the Princeton area.  If you have sent in a registration form for Head for the Hills within the last two weeks and have not gotten a packet of information (including directions and a list of things to bring) in return, please call Ellen at 609-430-1555 or contact her at ellen436@yahoo.com.

If you have not signed up for Head for the Hills but are still interested, also call Ellen and we will work out a system by which you can receive the necessary information.

November 9-11:

With Raise the Roof, A Joyful Noise, Barbara Greenberg, Louise McClure, Bob Pasquarello, Kathy Talvitie, Jan Drechsler, Sue Dupré, Janet Mills, Lise Patterson, Trish Petzold, Mark Widmer, Annie Moos, Head for the Hills Swing Band, and the PCD Pickup Band under the baton of maestro Robert LaRue.

Once again this fall, Princeton Country Dancers will get away to the Poconos for a weekend of music, dancing, and fun. From November 9-11, we will be partying in the mountains at Camp Harlam, near Kresgeville, Pennsylvania. The camp is a 2-hour drive from Princeton; a 90-minute drive from Philadelphia.

THE CAMP: The camp features two large dance halls with excellent wood floors and smaller rooms for workshops and jamming. The modern rooms are double or quadruple occupancy with private or  semi-private bathrooms. Meals are served family style in a large dining room.

THE PROGRAM: A hot contra dance every day . . . a long English dance . . . a cocktail

party with swing dancing to our lively house band . . . a Saturday night talent show . . .

Sunday afternoon chamber music . . . and music and dance workshops for adults and children.

REGISTRATION POLICY:  Acceptance for the weekend is on a first come, first served basis.  There is no gender balancing.  If necessary, we will maintain a waiting list, and if there is no room for you, your money will be refunded.

Download the registration form as a Word 6/95 document (120Kb - about 45 seconds with a 56Kbps modem)

If you cannot open a Word document, you can try to print the registration info from the web (not 100% guaranteed to work well in all browsers).

HOW TO APPLY: Look for application forms at your local dance in August.
