Musician information for the Saturday, January 22, 2005 Rum and Onions benefit dance

All musicians are welcome in the Pick-Up Band.

Sheet music is provided. Please bring your own if you have it, to keep our costs down.

Dance time is 8-11 pm. Arrive early (7:30ish) to get a seat and tune up.

Location: the Suzanne Patterson Center

Bandleader Michael Bell will be featuring Rum and Onions XXV repertoire - if you played at the Halloween dance in 2004, bring your music! He will also choose some tunes from the larger pick-up band repertoire, so bring your other contra dance music too.

Admission to this benefit dance is $10 for dancers. Musicians are admitted free, but are encouraged to donate any amount they wish. (A donation of $5 or more entitles musicians to participate in the drawing for door prizes.) Proceeds of this dance, after expenses, will help the Rum and Onions band cover costs such as music, rehearsal space rental, and sound amplification.

If you are joining us for the first time, or if you have questions about playing on January 22, please call Michael at 732-297-6281.

For general pick-up band information, call Susie at 609-252-0248.
