Please note:

Admission is by advance registration only, and typically sells out in January, so register ASAP!  No walk-ins are accepted, but there is usually a waiting list for those registering late.  Please see the flyer and registration form below to apply.

Dances will be minimally taught and prompted. The Fling program is designed for experienced English country dancers. “Experienced” means that you know well the standard figures of English country dancing. You can skillfully execute casts and leads, gates, single and double figures of eight, standard and draw poussettes, as well as all manner of heys (circular, mirror and dolphin). You are on time for each move, can assist your partner and neighbor, and can recover quickly from mistakes — while having fun!

Covid safety requirements for admission to the dance:

  • Vaccines: All participants must provide proof of having been fully vaccinated with an FDA authorized COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer, Moderna, or J&J) at least two weeks prior to the February Fling. If eligible for a COVID-19 booster for more than one month, you must also have had a COVID-19 booster. Proof of meeting this requirement will be required with your registration.

  • Masks: Everyone must wear a well-fitting N95, KN95, or KF94 (or equivalent) mask covering the mouth and nose when indoors at all times.
